curtain call
Thank you so much for your orders, I appreciate it very much. You know who you are! So for being my first customers since the shop’s opening I will be doubling your orders. Two different papers (or card types). Of course I’m doing that so that you can tell me which paper you like best. Customers always know what they like, so I hope you can help by emailing me your preferences! I also find it interesting that out of 200 images, “Curtain Call” #125 is the most popular.

ten-agers
The story goes (if you haven’t heard it a million times already) that when Françoise turned ten, Olivier announced that we had a teenager in the house. Of course I had to remind him that she was only ten to which he replied, “Yes, a ten-ager.” Well, he just reminded me that we’ll have another child in the double digits. We’ll have three children in the double digits as of next month.
But do you know what’s neat about having two teenage daughters? We can fit into each other’s clothes. And do you know what’s NOT neat about having two teenage daughers? We can fit into each other’s clothes. I don’t know how many times I’ve opened my drawers to find my clothes MISSING!

sweet valentine—for cookie lovers
cook·ie [kook-ee]
1. a small cake made from sweet dough.
2. a term of address, usually connoting affection.
I had ideas cooking in my head. Time came to bake them and would you know it, one recipe kept flopping and another got eaten before I could get around to snapping it. It was clear though that there were other factors affecting my work so I thought it best to keep things simple. Then the sun came out, giving me a window of opportunity to use the natural lighting that was flowing into my now studio. And from that shoot came: Pretty in Pink (left) and I’m Rapt (right). Unassuming, flawless beauty so yummy you want to eat it.
So where is this going? Hopefully not my waist. Truth be told as Valentine cards in readiness for Valentines Day. These images will be listed for sale shortly as fine art note cards in the gallery at GettingSnapped! A cookie tower that will grow on you, but alas, not on your belly. :)
