Looks like I wasn’t the only one interested in someone else’s hanging laundry. Remember this? After I took that shot, we returned half an hour later to witness this curious scene:

Which has spurred another fabulosous idea on how we can make a living so we can live here: We could advertise to do laundry (or just do our own) and hang it out on a line suspended from a window with a tin can dangling from a piece of string for tips. Folks come from all over the world to get a view of someone’s laundry here, so why not make them pay for the spectacle? At least I think it’s better than the kids’ idea of pillow fights at sunset. And they’re really good at that.

Thank you for listening to me rant. Now that I have Friday’s windings off my chest I thought I would write a Sunday Gratitude post. To list afew things that I am grateful for. Here goes: For my husband who loves me and does everything to ensure that we are happy and well. He is also a good listener and is wise. I told him he would make a fine Bishop. For the telephone and for skype, because I’m no Abigail Adams. And for sunsets because I get to witness His fingerpaintings every night from my window.
The last couple days have been cloudy and wet, the sort of weather not good for snapping because it affects the lighting in a big way. I’ve been wanting to snap things I’ve bought that could go under the SMART Habits label but it will have to wait. I do have snaps to share though.
