Do you mean because everyone rides bikes or because they’re so thin?

well, everyone rides bikes. and there are lots of people that are thin. BUT, there are so many people that do just that, sit on the back of bikes, no one has helmets, and they look like they are going to wreck at any time. that is what is french to me. i hardly see anyone sitting on handlebars, they usually sit on the back like this. i know, silly.

ohhh this is a beautiful moment in time. :D i wish you could somehow track this couple down and give them a copy, they would love it.
the boys and girls in montevideo like to clump on 4/5 at a time…so there are some hilarious opportunities for motorbike/bicycle shots here. in the summertime i tried to snap the scene so many times, but never quite got it as good as this.
