Before I post photos of all the sights of our third day, here are pics of some kids doing something they really ought not be doing at the Colosseum. It was fortunate that I was there to snap them, because if ever it was found out that these thousand year old columns had crumbled to pieces then I will have something to show to their mother.

mmmmmmmmmm. when i first read your post i thought you’d signed up for gladiator school. i saw something of the like on a travel show about rome. apparently you can go to gladiator school for a day, try on the uniform, and learn to fight like one. looked hot and sweaty to me. surely these kids stayed fairly cool with their jumping. it’s a nice series of photos.
