self-portrait challenge—glamour

Decided to give the fake eyelashes one more go. These thingamigs are a frustration. Blah.

Edited to say that I’m feeling much better about the luscious lashes stint because I’m jumping on the bandwagon of DebR at Red Shoe Ramblings and putting my self-portrait into movie format too! Check out her blog to see her inspiration for this month’s theme on Glam. It’s out now at a theatre near you! LOL. Another must see for this month’s Glam self-portrait is my friend Calandria as Audrey Hepburn. She doesn’t participate in the challenge but I challenged her to do it, so drop by and say something nice about her very luscious lashes as well!

i just bought some of those fake eyelashes to attempt to wear for an upcoming glamorous wedding. i am not hopeful! you look great in them!

You DO look great! Fabulous, dahling. Did you like them once they were on? I mean, before they fell off again? :-)

Yesterday at church I noticed that the hispanic lady I was translating for wore them. It was hard not to stare at them and try to figure out how she got them to STAY, LOL.

I love your movie poster ~ very Scarlett O’Hare!

Cool! I love this! Quite the dramatic display. ;-)

As to your question, we are actually attending an English-speaking ward with lots of hispanics, so I translate for them in Relief Society. They hope to start a Spanish-speaking branch soon. :-)

That’s a gorgeous photo of you, but my very favorite part is that you’ve cast yourself as all five Bennett sisters. LOL! I need to see this movie!!
